Downtown Master Plan City of Laurens

Masterplan updates we have been working on. While not yet completed, the Masterplan concept for the downtown area for Laurens SC is meant only as a concept for long term development to occur in a manner to also help maintain the historical small town character, and not a definitive development plan. It is meant as a guide for responsible growth and redevelopment that works to maintain the historic small town character of the city. An integral part of this concept is the individual style of new development to be incorporated in a way that mimics or at a minimum pays homage to the historical town square and W. Main corridors.
Series 1:
The overall concept. New and redeveloped areas that will meet the needs of a growing need in a planned way. Areas, of single family, multifamily, commercial development and mixed used development that also connect directly or indirectly to a "green spine" of trails and parks. The main park area along the creek with Simular park and development as downtown Greenville SC, combined with outpost park squares similar in concept to Savannah GA.
